The Royal Wedding

It seemed it was the event no one could stop complaining about, too much public spending, etc... etc... this is only a short entry but as a citizen of London I was very proud of how our country came out in force and the PR it rendered positively for Britain as a state. More positivity is needed in today's society.

Do we really care?

This weekend during a return trip to Birmingham I had local radio station BRMB playing, during the news segment of the show they reported how a study has shown that most teenagers at the age of 15 have been drunk at least twice, then continued to say how English teenage girls are the worst binge drinkers in the world.

Not five minutes later the adverts were played on the same station and two adverts for alcohol were played, on the same show they were doing studying songs, therefore knowing teenagers were listening. In one hand they are saying how bad the abuse of alcohol is and then advertising it in the next breath.

Adverts for alcohol are also notoriously glamorous
Is it really any surprise that our nation has this problem? When alcohol is advertised everywhere especially at such a young audience?

It was made illegal to advertise cigarettes, and the dangers of alcohol abuse are just as bad, whilst the tax are these narcotics is important for our economy, im sure removing the advertising of these things especially pre-watershed would be a step in the right direction

Katie Price aka Jordan

Katie Price alter ego Jordan is no stranger to the world of PR or the press, and has been able to adapt herself to different situations dependent upon the public's perception.
Over her 14 year career she has gone from public enemy to nations sweetheart and everything in between.
From page 3 model to jungle sweetheart to multi-millionaire business woman Katie Price knows how to work her PR. Recently we've seen her end her second marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid, similar to the demise in her relationship with Peter Andre,  the public were not on her side.

However after a stint on Comic Relief 2011's Let's Dance saw her voted through to the final and her new relationship with Argentinian model Leandro Penna means she's gracing the cover once again of magazines and in a positive light.
Combined with Alex Reid coming across 'weak' and 'pathetic' it looks like Katie Price is back on top
